Activate or pause a service

Activate or pause a service from the services list. Pausing stops new bookings; bookings that already exist remain valid and continue as planned.

Manage each service separately from the Services and prices list. When you activate a service, it becomes available for new bookings. When you pause it, only new session bookings stop; existing bookings remain valid and continue as planned.

This applies when

You have a service ready and want to make it available to clients.
You are going on holiday or want to stop a service from being booked temporarily.
You want to know what happens to existing bookings when you pause a service.

Turn a service on or off in the list¶

Open Manage your services through Services and prices in your settings.
Go to the list of your services.
Find the service whose status you want to change and activate or pause it directly in the list.
Check that the service status has been updated.

Pausing stops only new bookings(Warning)

When you pause a service, clients can no longer start new bookings for it. Existing bookings remain valid and continue under the terms that applied when they were made.

Result

An activated service is available for new bookings and can be used for slots in your schedule. A paused service does not disappear from your overview; you can activate it again later without entering everything again.
