Payment pending: what happens now?

After you choose Book now, your individual booking goes straight to payment. The booking page shows the current payment status and any deadline.

After you choose Book now, an individual booking goes straight to payment. Once the iDEAL payment succeeds, the booking is confirmed. The status and any deadline shown on your booking page are always the source of truth.

This applies when

Your booking says awaiting payment and you want to know what to do.
You want to know whether your payment has been processed.

Which stage do you see?¶

After you choose Book now, the booking page shows awaiting payment and the payment action. If a temporary reservation applies, the deadline is shown there as well. Once the payment succeeds, the status changes to confirmed.

Does it say awaiting payment? Start the iDEAL payment from your booking page and complete the payment steps with your bank before the displayed deadline.
Check the status on your booking page after paying: it shows whether the payment went through and whether your booking is confirmed.

Follow the booking page(Info)

A temporary price check can expire before you choose Book now. Refresh the page to see the current price. After booking, the payment status and any deadline on the booking page are always the source of truth.

Has the payment reservation expired, or did your payment fail? Follow the action shown on the booking page; you can try again only when that action is available. The article about booking statuses explains all intermediate statuses.
